Borderlands 3
I joined Gearbox Software in 2018 as an Associate UI Designer on Borderlands 3. I helped support the UI/UX Team by adding to existing UI, carrying new menu screens from inception to completion, and helping to curate a consistent UI style throughout the game.
Our team focused on creating a flexible UI that was still visually distinct and performant over the highly demanding horizontal, vertical, and 4-player splitscreen layouts.

Options Menu
One of my biggest initiatives on Borderlands 3 was the Options Menu. I contributed to creating a new UX flow that allowed the user to have two separate control schemes for in and outside of a vehicle. I also worked with our UI Code Lead, Andrew Bair, and other teams to help facilitate Accessibility improvements that were brand new to the Borderlands franchise. Some of these accomplishments were called out in an article from Polygon.
